Nadia and Paul travelled to the sunny Bahamas from Ontario, accompanied by over a hundred guests, to celebrate their marriage on Paradise Island.
Their ceremony at the Cloisters was perfect, with the couple and the minister (the always great Matthew) framed by the columns of the ancient ruin and a simple, yet perfect, floral display.
After exchanging their vows, lots of happy congratulations, and some time for photographs with me, it was time to get the party started and head to the reception.
The reception was the first I’d photographed at Atlantis’ recently opened Ocean’s Edge at the Cove, a completely new, purpose designed wedding ceremony and reception area at, well, the ocean’s edge!
Despite the wind picking up to near hurricane strength (or so it seemed), the newlyweds, their family and guests didn’t skip a beat as they danced the night away….
