The mother of this delightful young lady asked me to make a couple of prints of this capture today, which I did happily. Working on it reminded me of how I started on my journey into photography, which, of course, was a direct result of my daughter’s arrival.
Looking through my personal work, I found there was a predominance of photos of the children that make up a large part of my daughter’s world. Sometimes happy, sometimes sad, sometimes lost in a world we’ve long forgotten how to reach, each image captures a certain purity and innocence that is instantly reconisable, yet impossible to achieve once you reach adulthood.
