I met with Gino and Dessy late 2018 to discuss potentially being the photographer for their Bahamas Destination wedding, and we hit it off in the first 5 minutes.The wedding ceremony itself was a first for me, an Orthodox Indian Wedding, very different from the colourful, days-long affairs we normally associate with an Indian Wedding. Nassau doesn’t have an Orthodox Indian Church, so the ceremony was held in the Orthodox Greek Church with a close family friend as the officiant.
After the traditional ceremony, I headed off with the newly married couple to capture some wonderful portraits at the Melia Resort on Cable Beach, the location for the rest of the night.
With the formalities out of the way, it was time for the fun to begin…
