The historic Club at Old Fort Bay was the backdrop for this engagement/portrait shoot for a young couple who have me booked for their 2010 wedding.
The Club itself was originally a family home built in the 1920’s on the remnants of a 19th century fort, and is a remarkable, place full of intricate details, nooks and crannies. the couple are club members and love the place, so it was the prefect location for the shoot.
I tried to blend their very modern and cosmopolitan personalities with the aged elegance of the surroundings using, wherever possible, natural light as the late-afternoon sun lit up the rich colours of the buildings themselves.
These two have a laid back approach to life and the laughter heard throughout the shoot makes me excited for what’s in store on their wedding day!
This is sooooo beautiful! What an adorable couple!! The pictures are amazing! I love it!! xx
I really like the shot with the silk cotton tree in the background. Lines of the branches running parallel with the railing. v-nice.
