Wednesday’s aren’t normally that interesting round here, but last Wednesday, I had the honour of heading off to the amazing Abaco Club in Winding Bay for Nicole and Greg’s wedding.
With much uncertainty in the air due to the very unpredictable weather at this time of year, and the fact that the day before had brought torrential rains to Abaco, I arrived at the Abaco Club under clear blue skies to find a very relaxed Nicole finishing up getting ready.
The ceremony itself was to be at the Catholic Church about an hour away, and as both the bride and groom would be traveling together, we staged a little ‘first look’ on the beach at the Club, so Greg could see his soon-to-be wife for the first time. From there, we headed out the church, for a beautiful ceremony in the hilltop church.
Celebrations followed well into the night back at the club, including an amazing Junkanoo ‘rush out’ on the club house deck, and when finished my work and I left the couple, it seemed the night’s festivities were far from being over!
